Join us for Ensemble 2025 at BLOC+ in support of The refuweegee
Every December, BLOC+ gathers our extended family — promoters, DJs, musicians, artists and punters — for ENSEMBLE, our annual charity initiative. It’s a month-long celebration of the communities that make Glasgow’s music scene what it is. Many faces, many tastes, many backgrounds with one shared purpose.
We call it ENSEMBLE because music brings people together. It creates harmony within and between communities, and it reminds us that we’re always stronger when we move as one.
This year, ENSEMBLE proudly supports Refuweegee.
Refuweegee has spent ten years welcoming people to their new home in Glasgow. What began in 2015 as a response to the arrival of Syrian refugees has grown into a vital community organisation supporting around 350 people every single day.
Refuweegee’s commitment is simple: they’re here for everyone.
And this December, we’re here for them.
Join BLOC+ this December and be part of ENSEMBLE 2025: a celebration of sound, community and the Glasgow spirit. Expect a full calendar of gigs, club nights, collaborations and community gatherings. Come for the music, stay for the cause, and help us support the people who make Glasgow a more welcoming place for all.
“Support from BLOC and the Ensemble initiative, will help Refuweegee rise to the challenge of Christmas. With your help, we will increase the number of homeless kits we distribute; feed more people with warm meals and gifted more presents so no-one feels left out. Keeping people warm and safe in the winter months means we spend more on heating, food and snacks.”
